Meet Riley
Background
Born and raised in Charleston, Riley got her start at a career in music at age 14, leading worship at a local church. Riley graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a degree in Commercial Music. She has been teaching voice and piano lessons in the Charleston area since 2021 in addition to serving as South of Broadway Theater Company's music director.
Vision
Riley specializes in musical theater and commercial music, including pop, rock, jazz, country, and R&B styles. She aims to educate students to become well-rounded musicians and not just "singers" or "pianists." She fosters an environment for creativity, mentorship, and growth to help students achieve their goals and strive for new ones.
